Synopsis
A merry trio of pirates strike gold when they unearth a stash of riches on the beach of a remote island. But when carelessness sees their boat taken by the tide, stranding them, they are quick to turn on one another and squabble over their prize.
To make matters worse the three learn that they're not alone on the island. A tribe of pint-sized inhabitants are interested in
far more than their treasure. The pirates have to get past their greed and come together if they stand any chance of escaping
with the loot, and their skins, intact.

Director bio
Kris Brown, is a Filmmaker hailing from Aotearoa, New Zealand (the beautiful land of sheep and Hobbits) currently based in Germany with his wife and two kids.
As a kid, he spent countless hours glued to the TV, teaching himself how to draw cartoon characters. His parents said he should have played outside more. They were probably right. But, From 1999 - 2001, Kris studied traditional, hand-drawn character animation under a veteran Disney animator, John Ewing (The Jungle Book).
He has worked in studios for animated TV series ‘bro’Town’ (Firehouse Films), ‘Staines down Drains’ (Flux Studios), and Cartoon Network series 'The Amazing World of Gumball' (Studio Soi).
In the live-action space, Kris has assisted the lighting department on Filmakadamie Baden-Württemberg feature 'Club Europa' and performed VFX set supervision for short film 'The Lost Emperor'. During this time he also started experimenting with his own projects, including 'Galileo Disperati: The Marker Girls', an artist profile short documentary, and 'Ticino Canyons', a short sports film.
In 2022, while in New Zealand, Kris shot 'YARGH!', a self-financed pirate adventure-comedy short film that he wrote, directed, and produced, among other roles. This was Kris' most ambitious and fulfilling venture so far.
Kris is currently writing his next short film project. Also with pirates.
