The Jungle Story

On a school camping trip, eleven-year-old Amol is struggling after stepping down as cricket captain following a crushing defeat. Hoping to keep a low profile, he instead gets pulled into trouble when his thrill-seeking classmate Nisarg drags him, DJ, and the sharp-witted Sahiba on a secret midnight mission into the jungle to track the legendary Barasingha deer.

What starts as harmless adventure quickly turns into chaos when the group gets hopelessly lost. As fear sets in, tempers flare, friendships crack, and Amol must deal with Nisarg’s reckless bravado, DJ’s panic, and Sahiba’s injury.

Then a tiger appears. Trapped in an abandoned hut, the children are pushed to their limits. With no adult to rescue them, Amol must decide: keep running from responsibility, or step up when it matters most.

Drawing on a lesson from his coach—that a true captain never leaves anyone behind—Amol finds the courage to lead his friends to safety.
