Director bio
Haruna Inagaki-Nygård (born in Japan) lives in Norway, and has a master's degree in visual communication from the Faculty of Art, Music and Design at the University of Bergen. She is currently taking a PhD program in Artistic Research at the University of Bergen as a filmmaker.
She has also had her films screened at the Minimalen Kortfilmfestival (Trondheim), Shibuya TANPEN Film Festival (Tokyo) and MORC Comadori Animation Festival (Tokyo). In 2024, Home Immigration was nominated for the Amandus Blikkfang film festival (Lillehammer), and in the same year Inagaki was a finalist at the United for Peace Film Festival (Tokyo).
