Director bio
Shima Omidvar was born in 1993 in Mashhad, Iran. She earned her Master’s degree in Animation from the University of Tehran. Her graduate animation project "Letter from a Stranger" has been selected for over 80 international festivals and has won 11 awards. "Golden French Fries" is her first professional work. She currently works as an animation instructor at the Ferdows Institute of Higher Education in Mashhad.
